This functionality offers two default settings:
1. Setting the viewport for the smartphone display
2. Setting the default device for heatmap page access
1. Setting the viewport for the smartphone display
When viewing the Mieruca Heatmap on smartphones, you can choose whether to display the captured page with a width of 360px or 375px.
We aggregate and display data from users who accessed the page with different viewport sizes.
However, please note that the data may appear shifted based on the user's device.
Considering the current device market share, most smartphones have a viewport width of 375px, and many page designs are optimized for this width.
Therefore, we recommend selecting the 375px capture to align with the original page design, unless you have previously uploaded captures with a width of 360px.
Additionally, if you have previously uploaded captures with a width of 360px and switch the default to 375px, and you notice that the captures do not match the actual page display, you can manually upload new captures with a width of 375px.
This will allow you to view the data without any issues. Please read the following documents for the instructions.
Heatmap: Why the different page image is displayed?
2. Setting the default device for heatmap page access
The current default display is set to smartphones, but if your page receives more traffic from PCs or you primarily analyze data from PC users, you can switch the default device to PC.
This ensures that when accessing the heatmap page in the future, it will display data from PC users.
We recommend setting it to the device that is predominantly used for accessing the page.
